Today is a special day for our Etiwanda family! We're recognizing employees with 5 to 35 years of employment, as well as celebrating our beloved retirees. This year, we're also honoring those who were once Etiwanda students. Here are some snapshots from today's festivities.

The very talented and artistic Joanna from DW Long Elementary is receiving a high five today. Joanna earned 3rd place at the Harmony of Hearts Competition and was honored at the Rancho Cucamonga Festival of Arts, where her painting 'Owls at Night' was sold. Congratulations, Joanna!

Yesterday wrapped up the 3rd week of soccer leading up to the championship games next Thursday! It's been fantastic watching our students' skills on the field, supported by their families and peers. Let's keep that energy going!

Today, the Grapeland PTA and its Dance Committee are being applauded by Grapeland grizzlies. They hosted a Hooray for Hollywood Spring Dance that was amazing. Their PTA consistently delivers fantastic events for students and families.

A big shoutout to Mrs. K from Mrs. Vargas's Fourth Grade Class for the incredible Breakout Box activities! Students are engaged, problem-solving in groups, and honing their 21st Century skills to become tomorrow's leaders. Thank you, Mrs. K, for your dedication and innovation!

The Beitler family is sending a big shoutout to the incredible School Lunch Heroes at Grapeland Elementary! They are so grateful for all you do to nourish our kids and make every lunchtime special.

Mrs. DiMuccio leads her TK class on an outdoor adventure to explore insects and their habitats at David W. Long Elementary!

We're delighted to share that AAPEAC is presenting a special acknowledgment to Mr. Campbell from Lightfoot Elementary. Mr. Campbell is an AMAZING educator, known for his remarkable patience and unwavering commitment to his students' success. He always has a smile, is friendly, and communicates well with his students and parents. He truly loves our kids.

Farmer Day at John L. Golden! Mrs. Courtney's kindergartners had a blast planting seeds and discovering the parts of a seed by exploring Lima Bean seeds! What an awesome way to foster wellness and hands-on learning with our students!

Week 2 of soccer games was a huge success. The energy on the field was electric! Huge shoutout to all the players and teams for bringing their A-game and making it an unforgettable experience! Let's keep the cheers coming!

Exciting news! This week, we're delighted to showcase the poster entries from Terra Vista Elementary. Many talented 5th graders participated in the Annual Cucamonga Valley Water District Poster Contest. Don't forget to return every Friday as we feature three entries from each school.

Rohan, Ravi, and Riya are receiving a high five today from their parents for their incredible hard work this year and for their Spring piano recital, playing a total of six pieces! Favorites included Rohan's "You're Welcome" from Moana, Ravi's "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles, and the beautiful duet by Riya and Rohan to "The Night Song." Your parents are SO proud of all you do at school and in your extracurriculars! Amazing!

Today, AAPEAC shines the spotlight on Ms. Carter from Grapeland Elementary! 🐻 Loved by the Grapeland Grizzlies, she's the epitome of kindness, wisdom, and dedication. From hugs to wise words, she always does what's right for everyone! We adore you, Ms. Tracye!

Kudos to the incredible administrators at Perdew Elementary for going above and beyond! They visited every 3rd - 5th grade classroom to support students during state testing, spreading encouragement and delivering testing goody bags to each student.
